Quetrupillan Volcano Ascent

quetrupillanVolcano located to the east of Pucón. 01 hour drive. At 2.360 meters this volcano is located between Villarrica and Lanin Volcano in the Andean chain. The views are spectacular as those from the Villarrica volcano, the mayor difference is that Quetrupillan is not active (you may be pleased to know :-) ).

The ascent takes four or five hours and the descent two or three hours. Starting at 1.040 meters the trek ascends to the crater. Loose stones in the final 300 meters Section, demand a good level of physical fitness, but with the pace advice, and help of your guide the goal is definitely achievable.
